SACHER KAKKU & SACHER CAKE 

(V, GL)




Let`s Celebrate Women`s Day with This Sacher Cake

            - For Everybody who loves Chocolate with Rich Flavor of Apricot & Orange


                                           Let there be Shine & Light in your Women`s Day!





INGREDIENTS


BASE


720ml Oat Flakes

2 dl Coconut Flour

2 dl Raw Cacao Powder

3 tsp Baking Powder

2 tsp Ksantaani/ xanthan

2 tsp Cardamom

&

50g Dark Chocolate 70%
1/2 dl Coconut Oil

&

Water



MOISTEN WITH LEMON JUICE & WATER





FILLED WITH HOME MADE ORANGE & APRICOT JAM

Ingredients

Orange peel
2 Whole oranges
1 Lemon
Coconut Sugar
Water

&

750g Dried Apricot
1 tbsp Vanilla Sugar 
Water

Extra: 4 Passion Fruits








COVERED WITH MELTED DARK CHOCOLATE 

DECORATED WITH ORANGE ROSES & FRESH STRAWBERRIES


INGREDIENTS

200g Dark Chocolate
1 tbsp Coconut Oil
Orange juice

&

Orange Peel
Fresh Strawberries



VEGAN & GLUTEN FREE




METHOD


BASE

Pour 750ml Oat Flakes into a blender. For measurement I used the side of my blender Jar, that`s why I`m telling you the amount in ml. Mix the Flakes until smooth.

Mix other dry Ingredients in a separate bowl & add Oat Flour.

Melt Dark Chocolate & Coconut Oil / Mix with dry Ingredients.

Add water until the texture is smooth but not too loose.

&

Place in a cake tin that is spread with coconut oil


BAKE IN AN OVEN 175C/ 35-45min


LET THE CAKE COOL DOWN PROPERLY



ORANGE & APRICOT JAM

Wash one orange properly. Peel it and cut the peels into thin slices & pieces.

Peel the oranges and take the extra skin off. Peel one lemon. 
Mix in a blender.

Add the orange peels & blended fruits into a kettle with coconut sugar and water.
Slightly let it boil, then leave it simmer for ~15 minutes.

&

Add apricots into a kettle with vanilla sugar. Pour water until it covers the apricots.

Boil the mixture and let the apricots simmer until they are soft.

Let the apricots cool down & Blend till smooth.
(Add a little bit water if needed)





COVER

Melt the Dark Chocolate with Coconut Oil. Cut the end of an orange & squeeze the juice and mix together with melted chocolate & oil.

Peel one orange as a "spiral". Roll it to create ROSES & take one toothpick and put it through the orange peel.

Place the ORANGE ROSES & FRESH STRAWBERRIES on top of the cake.

Sprinkle with grated orange peel.




FINALLY...


Take the Cake & Jams that are FULLY COOLED DOWN.

Slice the cake into three parts & moist with lemon juice mixed with water.
As I used Mostly Oat Flour I noticed that I needed to moist the cake two times as it takes more liquid in.

THEN...

Take the bottom and add orange jam & one passion fruit.
Fill the second layer with apricot jam & two passion fruit.
On top of the third layer add both jams with one passion fruit.

COVER the whole cake with melted chocolate & Decorate.


LET IT SET IN A FRIDGE TILL THE NEXT DAY!
